Song of the week, vol. 4

Hello, my dear students!

I’m back with another song of the week! Fourth one already, not bad! So far we’ve had the Scottish Biffy Clyro, the North-American The Killers, and the Irish U2. Today we are going to listen to “Coldplay”, amazing British band. The song is called Fix You, and it is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

Lyrics:

When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

High up above or down below
When you’re too in love to let it go
If you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from all my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
